Integrative health coaching is a transformative type of coaching, in which you will explore how you are doing things now, and how those habits align to your vision of your overall health and well-being.
As your coach, my role is to help you identify your motivation for change and concrete ways to move toward your goals. This is “change from within,” which is different and more powerful than simply telling you what to do. I will work with you to brainstorm attainable and realistic goals, and create action steps toward your goals, in a non-judgmental way.
Health coaching is an investment in YOU. When you invest in health coaching, you are prioritizing your well-being and making the decision to have a richer quality of life, peace of mind, more energy and vitality, and greater satisfaction in your day to day life.
Most studies have shown that it usually takes about three months to change a health behavior and to create a new one that can become self-sustaining. However, everyone’s journey to optimal health is different. For this reason, I offer customized coaching packages that are based on where you are on your journey. I offer a free phone consultation to learn more about your goals and desires as well as your current challenges; from there we will determine the best option for you if you choose to pursue coaching. This way, you choose the level of commitment that fits your energy, time and budget.
I cannot bill insurance, but you may want to inquire about potential reimbursement for health coaching through your health insurance plan, such as with a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA). In addition, you may want to ask your employer’s HR department to see if health coaching is considered a covered wellness benefit. Finally, you can save money on health coaching by purchasing a package (sessions are discounted – the more you buy, the more you save).
Workshops and Group Coaching
In addition to individual coaching, I am also available to present group programs and workshops in the community. Whether you are a private employer, public organization or civic group, I can tailor content to meet the wellness needs and interests of your group.
